Tampa Bay Water Treatment

Tampa Bay water is hard. We fix that.

The City of Tampa reported an average total hardness of 185 mg/L — 10.8 grains per gallon — in its 2024 water quality report, which the USGS classifies as very hard. We install and service the softeners, whole-house filtration, reverse osmosis, UV, and iron & sulfur systems that deal with it. American-made. Family-owned. Tampa-Owned.

Good to know

Common questions

How do I know if I need a water softener?

Common signs are white spots on dishes and glass, scale on faucets and the water heater, soap that won't lather, and dry skin or dull hair after showering. Most Tampa Bay water is hard enough to cause these, but the only way to know for sure is a quick in-home test — which we do for free.

Do you treat well water in Pasco County?

Yes — well water is one of our specialties. We handle hardness, iron staining, sulfur (rotten-egg) smell, and bacteria for private-well homes across Wesley Chapel and the rest of Pasco County, plus well-water suburbs throughout Tampa Bay & West-Central Florida.

What's the difference between a water softener and a whole-house filter?

A softener removes the hardness minerals that cause scale and spotting. A whole-house filter removes chlorine, sediment, taste, and odor. They solve different problems, and many Tampa Bay homes use both together for the best results.

Is the in-home water test really free?

Yes. We come to your home, test city or well water on the spot, and explain the results in plain English with no obligation and no high-pressure sales pitch.

Do you serve my area in Tampa Bay?

We serve Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, Highlands, Manatee, Hardee, Sumter, and Hernando counties — including Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Brandon, Riverview, Lakeland, Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, Sebring, Brooksville, The Villages, and surrounding Tampa Bay & West-Central Florida communities.

Field note

Plant City iron contamination

We recently helped a family in Plant City with some of the worst iron contamination we've seen in a while. Their well water was loaded with heavy iron, and it was causing problems throughout the entire home — staining fixtures and laundry, fouling filters, and leaving a metallic taste at every tap.

Iron that heavy needs dedicated treatment ahead of any softener, and the right approach depends on the pH and the form the iron takes — which is why the free water test comes first.
